Our History
working hard for over 50 years
Selfridge Plating was founded by Howard Studaker in 1970. Back then, the family-owned company started out in a small 2,500 square foot shop with six employees doing hard chrome, black oxide and copper plating. Over the past thirty years, Selfridge Plating has expanded into a 45,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with 65 employees (some still with us from day one) offering a wide range of high-quality metal finishing services to an impressive list of clients in the aerospace and defense industries.
